Descending from the Bear Clan of the White Earth Nation (Gaa-waabaabiganikaag), I was born and raised in Milwaukee (Mino-Aki), WI. Owing all that I am to my parents, Diana and the late Del Porter, I have worked as a Legal Assistant for over 30 years. I have been blessed with two daughters and, currently, two grandsons. Having had the amazing experience of growing up immersed in Milwaukee’s Native community, I look forward to focusing my efforts toward reestablishing that atmosphere for my children, grandchildren and all future generations.
